How far in advance should I book my Hair and Makeup artist?

As with every wedding supplier, I would always recommend looking to book your hair and makeup as soon as you have your venue secured and you have found an artist that you love! It’s better to secure your date than to miss out.

How do I secure my wedding date?

I ask for a £100 deposit to secure your date. This fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the outstanding balance.

Do you recommend I have a trial? When should this take place?

Yes, I always recommend my brides have a trial prior to their big day. Not only is it important to ensure that you are 100% happy with the style that you have chosen but it is also the time that we meet in person and ensure that we are working from the same page. A trial is also an opportunity for me to look at your skin and discuss any skin care routines that I feel would help leading up to your wedding day. It’s important to remember that the secret to flawless, long lasting makeup starts with good skincare.

I usually recommend booking your trial 3-6 months prior to your wedding date. I understand that some brides may want to book theirs sooner, if this is the case, I would suggest waiting until you have found your dress and have a clear vision of the style you are looking to achieve.

How many styles can I try at my trial?

I advise that brides put together some inspirational images prior to their trial (Pinterest is great for this!) From these images I can gauge the style that you are looking to achieve. Some brides, however, are still unsure of the look they want to create and are keen to try out a couple of different styles - This is fine. I usually look to spend 2-4 hours at a trial so there is plenty of time to create the perfect look.

Will you travel to me for my trial and on my wedding day?

I do have a dedicated studio at my home in Surrey which is the perfect location for your trial to take place. However, if it is more convenient for me to travel to you then I am happy to do so. I will also travel to your preferred location on your wedding day. Please note that travel charges do apply.

Are you able to cater for the rest of my bridal party?

I know how busy the morning of your wedding can be and also how quickly the time seems to pass! I will always discuss times with you and work out a timetable that suits all aspects of your day. Dependent on your requirements, I may also bring additional artists on the day. I will discuss this with you further if I feel that this is necessary and quote accordingly.

What products do you have in your kit?

My kit is made up of an extensive range of hair and makeup products enabling me to cater for all skin/ hair types. The products I use will be specifically chosen depending on your needs and requirements, ensuring that your style not only looks perfect but lasts all day.
